Mrs. Carmen Conover earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood degree from Southwest Texas State University and also holds an ESL certification. She began her career in education in 2000 and joined the Stephens Elementary team in 2007. During her career she has received Teacher of the Year three times.
Mrs. Conover enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading to her daughters, running, baking, shopping, and traveling. She is also interested in scuba diving and photography. One of Mrs. Conover’s favorite books is Children's Literature by Kevin Henkes, Gene Zion, and Tom Rath and Mary Reckmeyer.
Ms. Trish Brereton earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education from Minnesota State University. She also obtained her ESL and Gifted and Talented certifications.
Ms. Brereton began her career in education in 1989. Her first teaching job was at a private bilingual school in Cuernavaca, Mexico. She taught English to 1st and 2nd graders. She later came to Aldine ISD where she’s taught 1st through 3rd grades. Ms. Brereton joined the Stephens Elementary team in 1994 and received Teacher of the Year in 2005-2006.
Ms. Brereton enjoys traveling particularly to tropical locations. She is interested in ways children learn and figuring out how they make learning connections. Ms. Brereton likes many books and authors and has a cool collection of fiction books about cats.

Mrs. Elias earned a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Winona State University with an Emphasis in Early Childhood Education (PK - Grade 6). She began her career in education in 2014 at Stephens Elementary teaching 1st grade.
Some of her hobbies include singing, acting, and playing the piano. She is curious about space, animals, and learning new things. Her favorite books include The Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo, Parts by Tedd Arnold, and Owen by Kevin Henkes.

Mrs. Melinda Villarreal earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a Psychology minor from Texas A&M University. She began her career in education in 2012 and joined the Stephens Elementary team in 2015. She has experience teaching 5th grade science and is currently teaching 1st grade.
Mrs. Villarreal enjoys reading, baking, sand volleyball, running, and country dancing. Mrs. Villarreal is also curious about what the future holds. Some of her favorite books are The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks and Handle with Care by Jodi Picoult.
Mrs. Gabriela Limon earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston Downtown. She began her career in education teaching Kindergarten in 2014. She joined the Stephens Elementary team in 2015 where she is currently teaching first grade.
Mrs. Limon enjoys reading, spending time with family, and home improvement projects. She is interested in different cultures, languages, and traveling. Some of her favorite books include The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo, The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis, and Wonder by R. J. Palacio.
Mrs. Mayra Rodriguez earned her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston Downtown. This is her first year at Stephens Elementary as well as her first year teaching.
Mrs. Rodriguez enjoys drawing, crafting, and movies nights at home. She is curious about the landing on the moon and has many questions about it. Her favorite books include the Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling, The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, and To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
Mrs. Juanita Hutto earned her Bachelor degree in Interdisciplinary Science with a minor in Mexican American Studies. She began her career in education in 1997. She previously worked in Cyfair ISD before joining Aldine ISD. Mrs. Hutto is certified to teach grades 1-8 and is currently teaching 1st grade.
Mrs. Hutto enjoys traveling, entering sweepstakes, and taking her son to swimming and her daughter to dance. She is interested in her future activities and spare time when her children grown and on their own. Her favorite books are The Bracelet and The Scarlet Ibis.
Mrs. Melisa Gonzalez earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development Early Childhood from the University of Texas Austin. She began her career in education in 2012. Mrs. Gonzalez has been teaching first grade for the past 5 years.
Mrs. Gonzalez enjoys reading, watching movies, running, and listening to music. She is curious about what it would be like to travel into space. Some of her favorite books are Wonder by R.J. Palacio, and the Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan.
Mrs. Dinora Cordova earned her Bachelor degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Education at the University of Houston. She began her career in education in 1999 and joined the Stephens Elementary team in 2003. Mrs. Cordova has taught 2nd grade and is currently teaching 1st grade. She also received the Bilingual Teacher of the Year at Stephens.
Mrs. Cordova enjoys listening to music and dancing. She is also interested in a child’s style of learning. Some of her favorite books are Leo the Late Bloomer by Robert Kraus and Love You Forever by Robert Munsch.

Ms. Juarez enjoys working out, crafting, and reading books. Her favorite books are the Pete the Cat series that she reads to her students.
